WILDFIRE Hearts Hands Feet

Know

Knowing to “DO” and taking action can produce change of heart. Giving to benefit another rather than to benefit self results in reward for both the giver and the receiver.  It goes against our very self-protective human nature to let go of self concern in order to reach out to help another. Our fear of making a mistake, or facing ridicule is affirmed by the way of the world we live in which can turn us inward.  If we keep reaching out we can overcome our self concern to become people who know, give and go, fearlessly.

The Wildfire after school program benefits donors and volunteers as it does aid recipients.

Educators and experts are provided an amazing forum for sharing their knowledge and expertise with Wildfire after school program participants.

Participants learn from the experts about need and how to help effectively.  Participants experience their own connections to people in need by reaching beyond the roles of donor and recipient through artistic collaboration projects.  Program participants are given the insights and access to see need as opportunities to help.

Wildfire Aid recipients are the orphans, widows and families broken due to undesired circumstances.  Current target aid recipients are Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, and the children in long term foster care from our local communities.  Our first mission is to Africa to meet critical emergency food needs, make connections with our collaborative partners and governments in the field and, to obtain first hand documentation and assessments to provide reports to you.
